Saddest thing you've seen on your travel through Europe?

Dan Coyle responded on 01/17/2012

I think just all of the homeless people. I've always had a hard time seeing homelessness wherever I go. The beggars in Prague are especially sad. They kneel on the ground with their head completely down, arms stretched out with a hat; they don't speak or look at you in the eye. It's like they feel completely unworthy and not deserving of humanity.
